Ted Gragg’s first novel Puma is indicative of the author. His ancestors fled Scotland to avoid persecution following the British victory over the forces of Bonnie Prince Charlie at the Battle of ulloden in 1746 and settled in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. These Scottish ncestors supported the American cause during the American Revolution against England in 1775 and the cause of the Southern Confederacy in 1860. more>>
